OUR STORY

My name is Nuru, Im Ukrainian and I started my spa journey as a completely new field when decided to switch my doctor - pediatrician destiny into something related to health, but based on happiness instead of pain. Still not knowing whats ahead I studied Ayurveda in Nepal and then by absolute good luck came to Tanzania. In 2020 I started Nuru Spa and Wellness in Jambiani, Zanzibar and 3 years after we were awarded as a best Spa in Africa. Recently, in 2025 we got our own, big and beautiful space in Bwejuu :)

At our place we aim not only take care of your body, but also your soul and overall wellbeing, motivated me and my team to open 3 more branches. Each branch is very different - we love to create places which people can fall in love with, which will fill you, make you happier.

 

The basement of our approach is an idea that happy person never gets sick, In fact we believe that if you love yourself, care of yourself - then only you can spread the happiness and radiate joy whenever you go.

 

We offer an exclusive blend of Ayurvedic expertise and traditional African healing rituals. My team is only women, so sometimes its can be a bit noisy and a lot of giggling but also a lot of care for each other and for our guests. I hope you will enjoy it here!
